Santosh Sharma didn't discover Bhutan through a travel magazine or a holiday package. He grew up in Jaigaon — the Indian border town that sits at the literal gateway to the Kingdom of Bhutan.
As a child, the Bhutanese border gate was part of his everyday landscape. He watched tourists arrive wide-eyed and leave transformed. He also watched many of them get rushed through hurried itineraries, pay more than they should, or miss the real Bhutan entirely — the quiet monasteries, the local festivals, the valley walks that no brochure ever mentions.
That gap — between what Bhutan truly is and what most people actually experience — became Santosh's life mission. In 2018, he founded DMC BHUTAN TRIP — not as a booking agency, but as a personal guide service built on local knowledge, honest pricing, and genuine care for every traveller who trusts him with their once-in-a-lifetime trip.
